This year, Getz Healthcare Taiwan collaborated with Japan Lifeline and Taichung Veterans General Hospital (TVGH) to organize a symposium centered around the Frozenix J Graft for total arch replacement. We were honored to have the participation of Japan Lifeline staff and Dr. Hitoshi Matsuda, who traveled to Taiwan to join the symposium. They delivered a lecture and engaged in a hands-on session, interacting with physicians from Taiwan. We are grateful to Dr. Hsuan Chiao Huang from TVGH for sharing her expertise on the modified Frozenix J graft in aortic surgery at VGHTC. 

This symposium provided a valuable opportunity for physicians from Japan and Taiwan to exchange experiences and insights on the utilization of the Frozenix J graft in aortic surgery. Not only did it allow us to learn about the surgical techniques employed by Japanese surgeons, but it also facilitated knowledge sharing among our own staff members. During the hands-on session that followed the lectures, surgeons were provided with samples to deploy the open stent graft within a pig heart. This allowed them to gain a deeper understanding of the product and the techniques involved in using the open stent graft.   

The overall event was a resounding success, enabling surgeons from Japan and Taiwan to exchange their experiences and move beyond theoretical knowledge by actively deploying Frozenix J graft during the hands-on session. We would like to express our gratitude to Japan Lifeline and TVGH for their assistance in making this event possible and ensuring its successful execution.
