Getz Healthcare Taiwan recently had the privilege of attending the Pre-Taiwan Transcatheter Therapeutics 2025 symposium alongside Boston Scientific. This event focused on the use of Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS), a technology that has gained widespread acceptance and usage in the coronary field. However, IVUS still faces challenges in establishing its role within the peripheral field.

Transitioning physicians to adopt new practices is never easy, especially when they have been performing the same procedures for years. Our primary objective is to raise awareness about the importance of IVUS as a supportive device and to demonstrate its value in peripheral interventions. By doing so, we aim to secure a position for IVUS in these procedures, ensuring that patients benefit from the improved clinical outcomes it can offer.
